This course contains:
MODULE 1 – Introduction to Climate Change and Greenhouse Gas Accounting and Reporting
Providing an introduction to climate change, and to Greenhouse Gas accounting and reporting concepts.
MODULE 3 – Verification of Greenhouse Gas Statements
Introduction to ISO 14064-3 and the Verification of Greenhouse Gas Statements by providing a thorough understanding of the Verification Process according to ISO 14064-3 standards. Developing a verification approach which includes a strategic review, risk analysis, verification plan and sampling plans.
MODULE 2 – Greenhouse Gas Protocol Quantification and Reporting
Introduction to ISO 14064-1 and the GHG Protocol. To explore quantification and reporting of Greenhouse Gas emissions. Describing the concepts of GHG inventories, carbon footprints and carbon neutrality.
MODULE 4 – Validation of Greenhouse Gas Statements
Providing a deeper insight into the validation of Greenhouse Gas Statements in accordance with ISO 14064-3 standards, including verifying removals and net carbon emissions. Exploring the difference between Verification and Validation in the context of ISO 14064-3, ISO 14065 and ISO 14066.
