Course description: 

This 2-day course enables you to gain a full understanding of the general principles of the requirements of the standard and changes from Issue 8, including fundamental clauses and statements of intent, and how to undertake a global standards audit, including planning and reporting of the audit.

Course objectives:

On completion, learners will be able to:

BRCGS Training for Food Safety Issue 9: Lead Auditor

Course description:

This thorough course delves into standard protocols and BRCGS certification auditing. It imparts a comprehensive grasp of requirements and effective auditing techniques, in line with Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards. Prerequisite qualifications include prior knowledge of quality management systems, auditing in the relevant sector, and completion of a minimum two-day HACCP course. The course concludes with an examination. Successfully passing the course, including the exam, is a pivotal milestone toward becoming a BRCGS auditor, with subsequent training arrangements facilitated by an approved certification body. 

Course objectives:

On completion, learners will:

  • Understand the background and benefits of the Global standard for Food Safety 
  • Understand the relationship with other standards: ISO and the GFSI-benchmarked standards 
  • Know the fundamental clauses and statements of intent

Course description:
