GRI:

GRI, a globally recognized framework, boasts 11,000+ organizations and 40,000+ reports in its database. It provides flexible, sector-agnostic guidelines with clear requirements. Established in 1997, GRI was founded by U.S. non-profits CERES and Tellus Institute, with UNEP support.

.

BRSR:

SEBI aims to improve ESG disclosures, making BRSR mandatory for the top 1,000 listed entities from FY2022–23, following voluntary reporting in FY2021–22. BRSR enforces comprehensive non-financial performance disclosure and effective compliance and communication standards.

AA1000:

The AA1000 Assurance Standard (AA1000AS v3) assesses sustainability information assurance, following the AA1000 AccountAbility Principles (AA1000AP, 2018). It holds organizations accountable for sustainability management, performance, and reporting in line with AA1000AP (2018) Principles of Inclusivity, Materiality, Responsiveness, and Impact, emphasizing robust assurance processes beyond data verification.
