Targeted, non-targeted analysis

With high resolution accurate mass spectrometry (HRAM) using Orbitrap mass analyzer technology, SGS can detect the presence of organic contaminants in a sample. HRAM also allows us to identify the presence of new molecules of pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, steroids, nitrosamines, contaminants, etc. in a given sample.

Targeted analysis allows us to screen for:

SGS testing method and accuracy:

Our testing method involves the determination of 2-Chloroethanol (2-CE) as a marker of Ethylene oxide using Gas Chromatograph Tandem Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS/MS). Using this method, we deliver the most precise results - with an LoQ of 0.01 mg/kg for ETO and 2-CE. This method has been validated according to the SANTE guidelines.
