cGMP 21 CFR 111 Certification

21 CFR 111, known as current good manufacturing practice (cGMP), is an FDA requirement for organizations involved in the manufacturing, packaging, labeling, or are holding operations for dietary supplements. cGMP is also required if an organization manufactures a supplement, but it is packaged by another person. Certification is also required for all products imported or offered for import in the United States.

Benefits of cGMP Certification

  • Demonstrates compliance with FDA requirements
  • Ensures products are of highest quality
  • Proves processes are in place to maintain consistency
  • Shows packaging and labeling are in line with stakeholder requirements
